2007-2008 Season

Dear Friends: Get your tickets early for this whimsical and wonderful ending to our season ... a perfect springtime entertainment! The five –person cast features StageWest newcomers Jami Bassman (“Metamorphoses," "The Taming of the Shrew") as Miss Witherspoon; Rekha Basu, well-known Des Moines Register columnist, making her Des Moines theatre debut; Shawn Wilson (“The Underpants” and “The Great American Trailer Park Musical”); Donna Scarfe (“Crowns”) and Rachel Salowitz (“The Lieutenant of Inishmore"). The director is Tom Ahart (“The Memory of Water”).

We are proud to announce the 2008.09 StageWest season. Our season opener is guaranteed to be the new "hit" at the Stoner - "Reefer Madness: The Musical." We will also bring you a diverse array of progressive, contemporary plays with the presentation of "Rabbit Hole" (Pulitzer Prize winner) - "The Little Dog Laughed" (Tony Award nominee for Best Play), "Souvenir" and "The History Boys" (Tony Award and Olivier Award winner for Best Play).
