FIRST - SCRIPTEASE, our popular, free, monthly play reading series has found yet another new permanent home. First Unitarian Church at Bell Av. and Casady Dr. One block east of Fleur Dr. on Bell Av. Thanks to the church staff for opening their doors to our series. Scriptease always occurs on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM (except Dec.) Oct. 28 - the new hit comedy, "Well," by Lisa Kron. Nov. 25 - a new adaptation of Chekhov's "The Seagull," presented by Drake University Theatre!

And at the Stoner Theater - it's the Iowa premiere production of "The Little Dog Laughed" by Douglas Carter Beane ... Nov. 7-9 and 12-16. It's a sexy, sassy, tabloid gossip story - definitely for adults only. But at it's core, there's more to it than meets the eye and ear. It's clever, original and will create a conversation!
